About Us
Star Essence traces its roots back 19 years, when it was owned and operated by Laura May Chisom. The traditions and values of strong technique with a family friendly atmosphere continue to thrive today, under the ownership of Kiera Regan. Everyone truly is a star at Star Essence, from our youngest recreational dancers in our outstanding preschool program, to our award winning Luminous Dance Ensemble competition team.
Classroom features:
- Our Marley floor provide the necessary flex to absorb impact and prevent injury.
- Fixed mounted Ballet barres on two walls mounted at the appropriate heights.
- Huge mirrors that go wall to wall from the floor to 6 feet in height.
- State-of-the-art sound systems.
- Soothing paint colors to aid in creating an inviting atmosphere without being distracting.

OUR ANNUAL RECITAL
Each year, our dance season culminates in a full-scale dance production that every dancer is involved in. Our June productions are more than just a recital; they are a story incorporating dance, acting, scenery and special effects, to make a show that is enjoyable for everyone who is watching. Dancers will begin learning their routines for the show in January.
